Its about the 25th or so post on this thread. I was using the random walk model, same method as ChitownEcho but he posted after me. At the moment its still pretty close, but with Santa rally due to start next week will probably take the market away from my price.
Here was his post. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59255&perpage=10&pagenumber=3

check out our X-mas time stamps Charlie! great minds think alike! sorry to businessman for missing it. still looking for lithium capitals prediction...of course, he'll never give a straightforward guess without some "if's" and "SF butts". Haven't heard from lithium in a few days, maybe his trailor slid into the bay.
That's scary . . . . You make this part of ET fun Bird. Keep it up. I don't think my price will be hit by the end of the year now but I've never been good at guessing . . . lol Apex is probably in Holiday Therapy. You know how Santa denial can get to a person. Merry Christmas Bird.
From http://www.safehaven.com/article-4342.htm A Banana Peel Market - Are You Listening? "In spite of the selling on Monday of this past week, the CPC and VIX sentiment gauges have moved to very bullish extremes of greed. Does everyone expect the expected? Of course we will have a post-Christmas rally. It's a slam-dunk sure thing, right? That seems to be the bet that the market has been buying into since Tuesday." "From a contrarian view, both VIX and CPC are closer to sell signal extremes than they are to buy signal extremes. Expect the unexpected when everyone is singing the same tune. And it sounds like "Jingle Bells" this time of year." $NASI! http://www.safehaven.com/images/miller/4342_h.gif Vix! http://www.safehaven.com/images/miller/4342_b.gif Personally, selling right out of the gate next week would not amaze me
Quite frankly, I am amazed that anyone actually puts significant weight into the VIX. If you depended on the VIX to base your trading decisions over the last 2 years . . . you got CRUSHED!
that's not true. the VIX is a single component of a trading decision. Personally, it has helped me make smart judgements. If you treat it as any other technical pattern, and are able to identify points where it will bounce, it definitely assists in spotting potential volatility. And volatility is the lifeblood of my successful trading.
