who is the perma bull? you're comparing being a perma bear in the market (which over the last few years has been a costly enterprise) to being a perma bear in life? i dont think there are perma bulls in terms of believing they will live forever.
I didnt say you were a perma bull... But in general you have perma bulls harping on the fact of being a bear is unnatural, when in fact life ends in a zero sum.... But thats neither here or there.... Perma bulls calling for 2800 in the s&p by 2013, dont know whether lo laugh or brace my self for the most preposterous events of my life..
YOU are the National Enquirer here! The benchmark gauge for American equities will rise 9 percent from its Dec. 27 close, to 1,374, by the end of 2011, according to the average forecast of 11 strategists in a Bloomberg News survey http://carnalstock.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3#p78
i didnt say you said i was as for the most preposterous events, my bet is on that. already the last 12 months ive seen things i swear i never would have believed if you told me 5 years ago that's what i'd see.
Yeah the last year and change has been pretty head scratching... Hate to use over used terms but this could be the "New Normal", markets could be skewed forever..
no, no way this can go on forever. the explosion that will occur finally will resemble a supernova originated at 33 Liberty. it will spare no one and the carnage will usher in the next era of freedom. after, of course, the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
ive said all along the top is somewhere around when the fed stops with QE or when the market begins to price in the end of QE. not before.
