Hey mvic, nice to see you back. No, I didn't buy them all back today. People like to bash and distort. Can anyone please show me where I said I purchased them ALL back today?? I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear. Many were purchased yesterday and the previous day. Once an option gets close to 1/4, there's really not much more juice to be squeezed from it. I frequently start the covering process around .25
Here is my quote. I NEVER say I did it all today. How in blue hell can people infer such a thing? I said "I've now covered most..." I've NOW covered. I didn't say I covered all today. I've been covering these things the past few days as the price has hovered around .30. I'm asking all the idiot bashers to take my words at their literal meaning. Don't throw your own 2 cents in, it ain't worth that.
you don't believe me? There's always that bet that remains open regarding my audit. So far, no takers.
no offense.... but u sound like a charlatan! What does MOST mean to the reasonably sane person?? If you have 200 than what do YOU call MOST, brother?! bonne chance... I
Yes, i've now covered most at .30. This has all happened in the last few days. I'm disclosing it now, before the -price moves one way or the other, and since i have now covered most. I NEVER lie when it comes to trading. And I have open a bet that I have an impressive audit that says i've made money every year, in up and down years, and so far, no one has taken me up on this bet. So while people like to rant and rave, no one has put their money where there mouth is. Back to the topic at hand. Even though i've now covered most, it was purely a precautionary measure as when the price sinks to 1/4, there's not much more juice to be squeezed. I still think the top is good at 1150.

I am not worried about friday's report. I hold these positions with strong hands. Latest quote: Feb 1175 @ 1.20 and Feb 1200 @ .35
On one hand James Stock states that he has been covering his naked call position in the FEb. 1200 SPX Calls for the past several days . . . yet, as Riskarb points out above, James posted yesterday that he is "not worried about Friday's employment report" and "holds these positions with strong hands." Hmmmmm...
risk arb, I expected more from you, well maybe my expectations are too high. First, do you have an audit? Otherwise, you're just betting me on mine? Second, I am holding my options positions with strong hands. I don't consider an option that trades down to 1/4 a significant position though. it now probably represents about 1% (if that) of my portfolio. The above statement is completely true. I was still short the 1200 calls, and I am still short them, hence the word "most" with respect to covering them. the amount that I do have is now not even worth talking about since each option is worth only $25.
I did pretty well with them. When there was no further downside action, and the S&P started trading above yesterday's pivot at 1126.50 I covered the rest fo them. I did not wish to come into today's number with any position whatsoever, and that was my main concern. Obviously, anything above today's R1 at 1130.30 must be deemed bullish.
