to say im bullish would be an understatement. i do hope i get my larger bids filled but it looks unlikely. oh well
I didn't say little directional price movement. I said substantially less return. 89% of yesterdays (2/25/20) 4.25 million volume produced 63% of yesterdays(2/25/20) range. That is a 37% haircut on return while still running extreme volume levels. Selling was being absorbed, rather than pressing. A reminder, we are talking about a DAILY ES chart. FWIW... here's a quicky daily chart with some stuff on it. https://www.tradingview.com/x/e76t6Emj/
short term bull strength may be sold into on the weekly though history of sharp falls have shown recovery and highs in about 4-8 weeks
quite frankly this fall looks more like a shakeout …...than a huge distribution. it was likely that no one was buying the highs so lack of liquidity made the market look below. be that as it may HTF is this market to be traded?. EDIT I keep reminding myself that the market will always tempt you with a thousand Ferraris with a 1000 virgins in them, if and only if ,you sell low and buy high. I almost got my hands on those a thousand times
