I never understand that either because the noise they tell you to ignore is the same noise that creates price movements...
Is this the first time in history the fed has cut rates with the stock market at historical highs and unemployment at historic lows????

I don't think once on ET I have ever used terminology "just buy low sell high." I think it is a silly statement. What does it mean trade price? Forget conventional TA indicators, they lead you down the garden path. I dont think in a paragraph I could describe price action, but were you to destroy all indicators off your chart, just look at nude price and volume, and continue to do that for the next month 100%, you will begin to understand. I cant say this enough, turn off the indicator crutch. However, I use data crunching to help me find best contenders over a field of about 1000 stocks. The data crunching is not an indicator, it is telling me probabilities. So you hit enough stocks with high probabilities with a stoploss to act as your bodyguard, and you have a trading system.
A further note re 1000 stocks, that's only part of my choices, the asx already has approx 2300 stocks, so 1300 stocks have already been prior eliminated because I believe they are crap bs stocks and I never want to trade them in the first place. Keep whitling the field down until you have best contenders, that's an edge to begin with. That's my style re EOD stock trading.
it is very important not to analyse why fed must / must not cut rates now or later. It wouldn't help us earn $$$. Just focus on the charts.
There was never a trade deal, that was all nonsense just to calm the markets, it was to give a boost to the markets.... Early Thursday, Bloomberg News reported, citing unnamed sources, that Chinese officials have been casting doubt over the possibility of a long-term trade deal with the U.S., despite the two sides closing in on an initial “phase one” accord, sending stock futures tumbling. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/31/us-stocks-fed-signals-a-pause-in-rate-cuts.html
Normally when people do that is when they lose because of their mis-judgement and they need to come up with different excuses to justify their mistakes of either innocence or ignorance; it is much easier to come up with these common excuses and blame on something else, than to come up with more reliable charting, which can take years, to guide their trading.
@S2007S Here S, this should make you happy. …"We should have lower interest rates than Germany, Japan and all others. We are now, by far, the biggest and strongest Country, but the Fed puts us at a competitive disadvantage. China is not our problem, the Federal Reserve is! We will win anyway." covfefe
