I was at the gym today and CNN had on the little window in the bottom right showing the live shot of NYSE with the Dow change. I don’t watch CNN so not sure that’s usually there. That to me was all the convincing I need to know we are at or near a short term bottom.
I agree with this. I had to switch to the monthly candle sticks to see the lower untouched BB and that is still below 2400. So 2380ish sounds good....
The bad thing about investing is that you keep on looking for bottom. and when price hits the bottom, you go long the stock. And after you long the stock, price continues its downward journey.
I actually think we had a decent price action for temporary bottom. Over the long haul, I think we are in a bear market from November this year (yeah the fall started in October but we had a few of those before making new highs) to who knows how long but expecting at least one year. Not expecting all time highs if this market bounces. But predictions don't work. We all know that .
