    While a positive day, it was one scary ride trading the stock symbol I. Made like $500 right off the bat near the opening. Then made a mistake of re-enetring thinking it's the lows. Then I realized I was wrong. I should have gotten out. Instead doubled down and it went even further.

    But I know from years of experience that the chart points to a rebound. It did a fast V bottom hard bounce about thirty minutes later, which was one scary ride. I sold then it went much much further. While I got out unscathed(100% win rate today), from a trading perspective it was a horrible day. From a P&L perspective, it was an OK day.

    I'm trying to instill good trading habits. I know it was sooo sooo oversold. But something can still get significantly more oversold. This is my trying to catch falling knife syndrome again. Luckily, it rebounded.

    Also, this is not like one of my slower moving stocks where I can easily swing 30K-60K shares. With just 3K shares, it moved a freakin 1 point move down then over 1 point back up. whew. With such high volatility, gotta be such careful and trade smaller size.

    Back to being positive for the month now with Tradezero. Merrill Edge, on the other hand, is highly positive all the way baby!

    ACB was super super weak. I even had the scenario planned out in my head last night to buy on the huge ER disappointment. Didn't sleep well last night. Got out a little late. Then it started zooming and missed it. Bought as it was breaking out but only got out for a 1 penny for 10K shares. It's a psychological thing. I'm afraid of heights.

    Then just now on the big pullback I load max size and got out decent.

    I know a lot of daytraders are BO buyers or buy on strength. I'm a buyer on weakness kind of guy. Because I'm psychologically afraid of pullbacks from the highs. It has worked so far. But I feel like I am missing some of the biggest movers by being afraid to buy on strength. Something to adjust and work on. Not all BO works. I've seen BO zoom up then crash down very fast. That's what I'm afraid.

    I need to refine my toolkit to selectively buy on strength. not all the time.

    Done for the day. Gotta attend to non-trading stuff!

    swing trading these options. Got out a tiny bit. Still holding a lot of calls. Hopefully it continues to rally. If not I'll get out of everything tomorrow.

    Robinhood is down soo soo much that these gains are nice but it's a bit of a pyrrhic victory, because the the account was left for dead for a while. Now slowly coming back to life. Still got a long way to go to back to even.

    But I figure with my better trading skills now, if I keep at it and banging out thousands and thousand per day then it will recover sooner than I know it!

    Growth mindset.

    Oh yeah!! Finally got a monster day!

    Thanks to all of you who read and support this thread! @jl1575 @Overnight @ironchef @expiated @guru @traider @jamespond
    @Handle123 @MarketAddict
    @Turveyd @BlueWaterSailor

    Big profits came from swing trading these options. Learning to hold onto winners. I didn't sell much yesterday, which was a good idea. Waited for today. Sold at what was doubled yesterday's options prices on the way up. But then it doubled again! My total gains since Monday of this week was $14K on these options. I know @Overnight will hate me for saying this. Had I held them to the level I think on the daily chart then I would have been up $24K! So left $10K on the table. But I'm not complaining. I'm improving. That's all that matters. Kaizen. Constant improvements. Growth mindset.

    I sold on the way up at different prices. I don't like selling on the way down since options lose value so fast. You gotta sell into strength to liquidate. What are you guys thoughts on this?

    In my IB IRA account which I haven't touched in months, I traded NQ again. Since I've been trading big size on stocks, now trading 1 lot on NQ feels relaxed compared to swing 60K shares of volatile stocks. lol. Made 16 NQ points on one lot. Maybe I might tiptoe back to scalping NQ. But nah. Stocks I feel the most comfortable now. Same with swing trading options for very specific set-ups.

    In my normal taxable IB, I left a lot on the table. I got out too soon. It was rallying hard.

    Overall I held onto winners much much longer than in the past. I don't feel superexcited or jumpy up and down like those crazy YouTuber traders. I bet they will be posting this all over the place. While the gains are great(awesome!), I still think from my starting point. I'm still down HUGE on Robinhood. I need more of these days to just get back even. But at least my techniques are getting better. Thinking from the perspective on today onwards then it's great. But from original starting balance or high watermark, still a ways to go. But I'll get there sooner than later.

    Now I need to research and find my next monster option trades to swing trade.

    Why would I hate you for finding success in something you understand?

    I am SUPER happy for you, those have been some monster days and you are on your way.

    I WILL hate you if you ever try GC again. For you, GC futures are room 237. So stay out and be on your way to glorious peoples. :)

    I'm glad that you are SUPER happy about others success. That's a GOOD MINDSET!

    What I meant when I said you will hate is because of my Monday morning quarterbacking and saying if I held just a bit longer than I would make more money!

    For me, this is a great day. But not a really monster day. I think a monster day would be $25k-$45K a day. The supermonster day would be $100K. I heard of people back in the old prop trading days when I was first learned equities daytrading that one trader at Worldco(now defunct) made $100K a day. Obviously, not everyday.

    I don't have the account size for these monster moves (yet). But I think that would be a supermonster glorious day! LOL!

    You have mistaken me for someone else. Never think that you have to catch the maximum move to be successful. Green is good. It is for glorious peoples.

    If you ever think that again, I will send you a NK carrier pigeon. For the glorious trade peoples.

    Please reread what I wrote. I said you don't like the fact that I(not you, but I) always trying to catch the maximum move. lol.

    Ahh. Yes. But there is no need for madness, because you caught a good chunk of it. Drink some tequila, and celebrate by snorting the worm right up into your brain through the septum. Twice.
