Many such squabbles exist throughout the world. India is no choir boy here either, saying that it will not supply Pakistan, back before it got into trouble and was not prepared to even help itself. Europe has its squabbles too. As I have said before a couple times "if only we had an international organization committed to working on such issues when they arise. We could call it the World Health Organization. They could ship Israel's surplus to some non-controversial country and then find some surplus units elsewhere in the world (how bout maybe their own Covax vaccines, nevermind) to supply the Palestinians. Also as I have said a couple times before, when the history of this pandemic shows problems with individual nationalist actions and everyone is ready to foam at the mouth on that. But it also shows LOTS of problems with the multicountry collective actions and organizations such as the EU and the WHO. Some of those folks need to do some work. Full disclosure: I have problem seeing the Palestinians receive supply and I also have no problems seeing why the issue is to raw with Israel for them to do so. Ditto for the India/Pakistan dispute and so on down the line. But that is why we have international intermediaries such as the UN/WHO to put bondo and duct and do work arounds. Do some work for Christ's sake. Africa is wall to wall with countries where significant portions of the people are in rebellion/opposition/outright war with the central government. Get over it and find internationally neutral ways and organizations to approach it. Sheesh.
