You haven't been paying attention. The poor are doing fine, the middle class even better, and of course the wealthy better still. Post all the charts you like, if even the poor can have two TVs and get fat, inflation has not been a problem.
I am talking about the systematic drain of wealth and time from the middle class. the title of the thread speaks of the middle class. the middle class works and pays taxes. The last 30 years has been about taking from the working class and giving to the top 1/2 percent of the country. The lie that sells those policies has been taxes to help the poor. My point is that we don't need to tax income and death of the middle class. The Federal Reserve prints as much as it wants. The govt has the sovereign right to do that. So drop the income taxes... but still provide social safety net for the poor.
