  1. and what was this low or not offered amount again that was rejected?

why don't you save yourself some time and tell us what a proper offer would be in your view... sthg able to bring peace to the region... try not to think "arab" nor "muslim" if that helps with the thought process, try with "yougoslavs" for instance... just trying to help...

  2. As expected you've failed to provide even a shred of evidence that Arafat's rejection had anything to do with the amount offered. He never claimed that, no one else besides you ever has either in which case the conventional version that he rejected the very idea of compensation in lieu of the right of return stands.

  4. In my view they are not entitled to collect a penny but in order to resolve the issue once and for all $50,000 - $100,000 per refugee to help resettle them in new countries and start new lives would be more than appropriate (I am probably being too generous).

  5. He lived for several years after the summit and he never claimed that his rejection had anything to do with the amount of compensation. No member of his team (and most of them are still alive) has ever claimed that either. You're the only one.

  6. take a leap of faith...

in any event, thanks for giving us your view... we'll probably disagree on the budgeted amounts etc and in a big way but... its still a long way for a "fair", proper and believable offer to be made to the refugees imo...

i do believe a full offer with extremely clear rules of allocation, who contributes how many %, where the monies are to be placed under escrow etc etc, needs to be made before this option is validly ruled out...

am off... have a nice day
