The Rich pay more then their fair share in taxes.

  1. Taxes aren't the only way some get hosed.

Seniors are more likely to live off of SS/pension check + CD interest. But with the inflation rate being significant (in spite of how the government lies about it) + ZIRP, seniors are getting hosed RIGHT NOW!

Seems Bernanke and other have determined it's OK to sacrifice the seniors in order to prop up deadbeat mortgages.

I knew this would come up..!

Let me enlighten those that are economic intellectual lightweights, socialists, and pure closet Bolsheviks.

Returns on investments are taxed at a lower rate. This encourages investment. Income that is invested is after tax income. So that investment has already been taxed once.

So if you really want to change the tax code, remove this incentive, discourage investment, buy-into the class envy promoted by the current administration and the egg sucking liberal mass-media propaganda machine........ the country would sink into just another dormant economy much the same as most of the European countries that have adopted the same.

You don't feel the cold water creeping up your backside already?

Finally, someone with the courage to stand up for the downtrodden. I'm sure the rich are grateful that there is finally a voice to speak on their behalf.

I don't speak on behalf of the rich. I attempt to enlighten those that think (despite the evidence of all recorded history) that the government is there to fix everything, to take care of them, to make everything alright.

Socialism works real well....till you run out of money.

It appears that this thread has been largely overrun by "soon-to-have" rich guys in BE-DO-HAVE mode, practicing their nose-up-look-down posture for when their ship comes in -- any day now. The fascinating part is that these are mostly the spiritual, religious guys who commune regularly with their lord and savior.

Either that or they believe in personal responsibility, self reliance and think forced not to mention grossly inefficient wealth redistribution is a travesty of justice.
