Why envy the rich? Be a good person and make lots of friends. Live life with a rich soul. The politicians want use you like a puppet. They want you to feel bad when you perceive someone else as “rich”. They want obedient lemmings.

  2. That is an insane number. It would be cheaper to keep kids at home and send them private tutors.

OP is right. Luxury goods sales went up. Most houses bought today are secondary homes for investment purposes. Not sure if it's totally about rich "stealing" from poor, as both parties of government bribed campaign funded by big money. And the flip side, socialized states of rich unions such as California.

"Maybe we should ship our inner city students out to Germany for 8 years :)"

"The US should study the likes of Germany who has a fantastic elementary public program. "

why not simply study education in the suburbs which has produced student like yourself with a "wonderful education."
Why not "ship" these students to the suburbs to receive the "wonderful education" that you received?" you are probably joking but your naivete is showing.

Actually, my kids are in a North Shore school system and of course it is awesome. So is my annual tax bill.

'The chickens are starting to come home to roost' for Germany. Prime Minister Merckel made a very famous speech last year where she said immigration policy has failed miserably - Muslim immigrants were collecting entitlements and were essentially refusing to integrate into mainstream German society. Germans are complaining about immigrants setting up their own sets of laws and refusing to learn the national language. Sound familiar ? Look at the riots in France the past several years. The frequent use of the term 'Londonstan' does have some basis in reality.

Here in the US, the difference between caucasian kids and kids of color is education and of course education is the key to higher income levels. Education meaning a trade or secondary school or college. Single mothers with addiction problems are not going to help their kids with the homework, to put it kindly.

Who wants to make the impossible choice to drug test welfare recipients ? Is that racism or personal accountability testing ? No logical person could deny that just throwing money at the poor does not correlate to reduced rates of 'poverty'; in fact, private charities appear to do a much more effective job of servicing the poor than the government. Can the left tolerate funding private charities with a religous affiliation, since those organizations are clearly much more effective at directing resources directly to the poor versus political organizations thinly veiled as 'charities' [ACORN] ?

  6. I love how people think anecdotes trump statistics. Yeah this mexican on the street corner doesn't work, so I don't believe your statistics.

I also love fake logic like the poor are lazy (!!!??? have you conducted a statistical test of randomized 2000 poor people, defined lazy as working * hours * x productivity, and done the same for 2000 rich people, and found that the poor are lazy)

Here are some examples of the rich waging class warfare on the poor

    http://www.politicususa.com/en/supreme-court-dow-michigan

    killing class action lawsuits

    http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/201107060026

getting propaganda in the world that the poor are waging class warfare on the rich, a great example of reverse psychology:eek: shocking

    http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/blogs/taibblog/holiday-in-scambodia-20110720

lobbying and probably getting a new tax holiday, even though the last one didn't gave much benefits at all and maybe even was counterproductive, because now the rich know to save money offshore indefinately in advance of a tax holiday that WILL come.

  7. The Federal Reserve is responsible for this. And
Reaganism, the conservatives did away with welfare for the poor and replaced it with welfare for the rich .

The great criminals are the central bankers who think asset price inflation is good.

  8. ET Entitlement Junkies Posing as Traders: LOL MK you nailed it.

Most these ass clowns on ET are not only Entitlement Junkies but they are the very cancer that is destroying Capitalism. Their thoughts and their logic is so flawed it is mind numbing.

Entitlement Junkies are sinking faster than the Titantic as the cost of living is soaring, Entitlements are about to be slashed hard, and it's a very competitive job market.

They will loose in the end but not after they suck the life out of those who are Successful.

Entitlement junkies are champions of Soros and Buffet and Corporate Socialism...to big to fail mentality. They will soon find pink slips in their in box....from the very TO BIG TO FAIL FIRMS they work for.

Your "graphs" prove nothing. Are the poor and rich both having a better standard of living? Who are the poor anyway? Are they people living below an arbitrary "poverty line"? I know people who would be classified as such who didn't take any form of gov't handouts. They lived in "poverty" fine and were able to get out on their own. How much better off are those in poverty that take multiple handouts (welfare, food stamps, SSI, Medicaid, etc.)?

And I don't even need to read the Rolling Stone article. The last political article of theirs I read was atrociously bad--pure tripe.

No wonder you failed at trading...

  10. No matter how you look at it, the rich in the USA earned their money -- and mostly in an honest fashion I believe. Too bad I can't say the same about my motherland Kazakhstan, but that's a different story...
