Trump starting calling the media the enemy and fake news while he was running for office.... too bad if they took it personally and decided to highlight every single mistake he made every minute of the day... let's face it, trump got upset the minute anything negative was posted about him, usually stuff he did himself and went ballistic like a child. Trump certainly did everything you said. But the media was extremely culpable with lies and unjustified attacks. I said it many times, there was plenty of things to go after that WERE true about Trump. Making shit up wasn't necessary.

What are some regularly things the media lied about Trump. Most often they just reported what he said and provided commentary. Commentary is not lying it is commentary. Like FOX news said in its court case...it is entertainment, not news. Attakcs have occurred since Washington when Thomas Jefferson secretly funded a newspaper to write heavily critical articles about his boss (he was Secy of State at the time). There is no such things as unjustified attacks in the media because FOX news went after Obama for 8 years regularly even being heavily critical of things that Trump then went and did and then was quiet. Attacks are simply opinion pieces you don't agree with.

Ah, see this is the crux of the issue. If people viewed these organizations as entertainment, then there wouldn't be any issue. The problem is they are the NEWS. Or the actual news is no more and this is what we are left with.
