or in other words, would u rather own a real asset that would beat inflation, or hold on to money that would lose it's value? It's similar to china, being flushed with Dollars, going on an aquistion spree, for resource companies that they will need( iron ore etc.) Dumping Treasuries is akin to financial sucide for china that will quickly devalue it's Foreign reserves.
