The reality of trading

Discussion in 'Trading' started by FireWalker, Mar 24, 2011.

  1. I been told it is a comnon strategy in prop. firm to choose those "frequent " loser clients(accounts that often hit stop loss) and trade against their strategy?

I think you talk too much and you should let this thread rest forever.

  5. I been banned (more specific: "Not welcome") from my local casino before - after they found out i win mostly (80%) for nearly 3 months (although it is only a small money via some plain simple strategy- 15% profit target with 50% stop loss) :D

Not sure how they can ban you from trading ?

  7. i got banned from some vegas casinos a while back too.

they banned me from trading by monitoring my trades and attacking my stop losses. yes, i realize the next suggestion will be to read Mark Douglas or some other psychology book, but i have done that. i know more than anyone who has ever opened an internet browser. i have been trading for 10-12 years actively. and longer than that.

i got banned from poker too.

  8. i even get banned from bars from time to time because i break up the musical chairs game. fyi, most of the bar game is how to scare the hot chick into sucking your dick for protection. eg. hot bartender at 2am surrounded by guys and she gets to pick the least of all evils to get her home safe.

  10. if you want to understand trading, watch the original Wall Street movie. That was an advertisement for a certain type of person. What was the ending? The good guy goes to jail (Bud Fox). He's a bud and smart. Gordon Gecko sticks to the wall and might have gotten a slap on the wrist (don't listen to the 2nd movie). GG's superior got off along with the Queen of England. The pan off at the end of watching Bud Fox... justice is served. Advertising for a certain type of person. We'll get those bud foxes out of the way. Looking for the "right" type of person who will slash and burn without compunction.

Then watch American Psycho. Small time rich. Gets away with murder. The movie was an admission and a call to notice what is really going on behind that television set. Remember the scene?

I'll give you my synopsis of A Beautiful Mind another time. Schizophrenic? yeah, right.
