That's why I have not bought a share of NFLX since it has dropped. Totally different company, different fundamentals, different competition. I'm doing the same put strategy as Google on many other stocks that I'm willing to acquire as long-term holds a bit lower -- ASML, LRCX, AMAT, INTC, UNP...stuff with solid fundamentals.
Regarding Cash Account I recently had posted these info. Additional info: with a CashAcct a margin call cannot happen , and as already said above: with CashAcct there is no Pattern Day Trading (PDT) restriction that limits the number of daytrades.
You make margin sound like something bad - with a margin account nobody puts a gun to your head to use it either. I love margin - gives me more options
I only said that with a margin account there is the risk of getting a margin call if the account is short of available own cash when the market turns against oneself (ie. meeting the maintenance margin requirement at all times), whereas with a cash account one never ever can get such a margin call.
Anybody know what's wrong with IMPP (Imperial Petroleum Inc.) ? It's a oil/gas/energy company. The profile at YahooFinance reads: "Imperial Petroleum Inc. provides international seaborne transportation services to oil producers, refineries, and commodities traders. It carries refined petroleum products, such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and jet fuel, as well as edible oils and chemicals; and crude oils. As of March 29, 2022, the company owned four medium range refined petroleum product tankers and one Aframax crude oil tanker with a total capacity of 305,804 deadweight tons. The company was incorporated in 2021 and is based in Athens, Greece." So, why is the stock not breaking-out as there clearly is a worldwide energy crisis since about YTD?...
I just posted, for the first time ever, ie. a premiere , a screenshot of my option scanner's output (it's a command line tool ) in @KCalhoun's thread.
Some more important information regarding cash account: @Illini Trader wrote the following in the other thread: "In a Cash account if you sell an option that was made in a prior day the proceeds are immediately available to reinvest."
