One last comment and then I will leave your thread alone.

You made the following comment yesterday that you were a profitable trader:

"which is what I suppose makes me profitable ;)"

Yet through the only measure where your results could be verified (the managed futures program), you admit that you lost money:

"it did not work out and it hit its stop and was closed"

So can't you see how you open yourself up to criticism?

Probably gonna hang up my hat and call it a day.

Today I have 1 trade in the ES for +1.75 and 2 trades in the NQ which I am up an average of 0.25 (a small loss after commissions)

In stocks I have had HSIC from 48.45 to 48.83 for a gain and UBS for a 8 cent loss, and thats it.

Really hate Fed days. I might go mow my yard.

You can stay, you don't offend me at all. Your not bringing up anything here that people are not aware of, or that is untrue.

I absolutly lost money on the first BAT program. It hit my stop and I shut down the program. Chit happens and you move on. Thats life and trading. I have since corrected the problems that we had in that program and have started another managed futures program. The new program is going nicely and has not had a single losing week.

Also I would note that the chatroom can be varified every single day as being very profitable. We keep logs of them and have a number of members who take the alerts.

I am not in brandonf’s chatroom. But I did learn a lot from his postings on ET. Yes, he is doing promotion for his business. But if not for that, who would painstakingly post so much useful, valid, enlightening info here?

[14:42] <brandon> let me know when you have this up
[14:43] <brandon> This is the one minute chart from XMSR
[14:43] <brandon> when I send out the list at night
[14:43] <brandon> the basic idea is that if it starts going in that direction
[14:43] <brandon> you should be able to focus on that stock and trade setups in it
[14:44] <brandon> and like I said, if they work I can claim to freak the ruling markets or something like that if I can slip the spam past Toni
[14:44] <brandon> but more seriously on this particular chart
[14:44] <brandon> you can see that we gapped up quiet strongly
[14:44] <brandon> so at this point you want to approach it pretty much like any other stock with a large gap
[14:44] <brandon> that is to say
[14:44] <brandon> your assumtion is that gaps fill
[14:44] <brandon> so you will not buy right away
[14:44] <brandon> it needs to show you strength
[14:44] <brandon> and after it does that
[14:44] <brandon> since nothing moves in a straight line
[14:44] <brandon> you want it to rest
[14:45] <brandon> you can see the base it built here for a bit which I have between the purple lines
[14:45] <brandon> and that was the little base it had
[14:45] <brandon> when it broke over 10.65 it had cleared the R
    [14:45] <brandon> I got in 10.71's
[14:45] <brandon> the same thing pretty much applies with something like AMGN
[14:46] <brandon> Ill get that chart up quickly too if you like
[14:46] <brandon> this is all just general info to help you guys understand these

[14:48] <brandon> let me know when you have this one up
[14:49] <brandon> top chart is the daily
[14:50] <brandon> you can see that its in an uptrend
[14:50] <brandon> but all good things come to an end
[14:50] <brandon> or at least take a break
[14:50] <brandon> on the daily it did pull back nicely
[14:50] <brandon> and it setup a swing long
[14:50] <brandon> but it started to stall out pretty quickly
[14:50] <brandon> it formed that shooting star yesterday
[14:50] <brandon> right up near that resistence level from the prior highs too
[14:50] <brandon> one of the things I try to do when I look at a chart is put myself in the shoes of the traders in that stock
[14:51] <brandon> and find places where I think a lot of traders will be in
    [14:51] <brandon> and once I find that
[14:51] <brandon> look for a point of panic
[14:51] <brandon> because if you get that
[14:51] <brandon> and for most traders any stop is a panic coz they dont have their heads on straight
[14:51] <brandon> so look for a point its gonna work against them before they want it too
[14:51] <brandon> well that was under yesterdays low here
[14:51] <brandon> and we had a good bit of daily resistence to work with
[14:51] <brandon> we gapped down today
[14:52] <brandon> basically into the area of the first days setup
[14:52] <brandon> but start with the assumption that gaps will fill
    [14:52] <brandon> see you tradess
[14:52] <brandon> you can see that it pretty much formed a base as well
[14:53] <brandon> the setup here then I had was the resistence under 62.12
    [14:53] <brandon> ugh telemarketers
    [14:53] <brandon> ok
    [14:54] <brandon> I managed to get some upticks 62
