Obscene amount of time lol 25 years, good enough? I wish you all the best but don't let your "recent" success go to your head. In 7 years from now IF your still doing well, then I will say welcome to the club. Till then ... let the market guide your way.
I don't claim superiority expertise or anything worthy of recognition. Just doing well and happy. Susana
Thank you for starting this group. I trade the ES also, had TransAct as my broker but closed the account yesterday because I was losing money to fast. Going to continue with Ensign charting and Open Tick data feed ($15 a month) simulated trading. Price action is all I use and my losses are due in part to Morphine that I have to take for pain. It slows down my thought process and when the mkt is moving fast, confusion sets in. I hope to be able to overcome these side effects and trade profitably again. Looking forward to being a part of your group. Bob M
Geeze bro, don't trade the ES on morphine. Just remember simulated trading is only "different" if you let money get into your mind. Don't let money in your mind. At least thats what i try to do.
Holt, what method are your entries based on? I looked at your chart but didn't understand your method.
Once you find a valid Support level when Price is at a higher bottom position (in these case a S-Ledge); just place a Stop-Buy order above certain near by R-Level to enter market.
Tuesday 29th. Made a small mistake but by allowing the winners to far outpace the losers I got nothing to worry about. That and the fact that I only enter at confluential areas of support or resistance. Very good PA on ES today. Hope to see detailed charts soon, please don't tell me I'm on this journal alone, because that's not what I had in mind. Susana
I have requested the moderator to please delete all Hershey posts and related replies from my journal. You got enough threads in ET, get the heck out of mine. Thank you. Susana
Hi susana, You're trading way better then I am but I do have one advice for you and is to try to limit yourself to trade with the main trend, not all the time but at least on days like this. Most of your losing trades I've noticed so far were failure attempts to countertrend trade and you would have done better just trend trading. Take a look on the same chart of you today but this time only trend trading using S/R and 3bar for entries and exits. As for me technical issues prevented me from trading most of the day and caused me to lose some money so infortunately I B/E today... to bad... P.S. Thank you for trying to keep Hershey out of this thread.
