I used to be a member of a trader group which in those good old days actually met up once a month in a pub. At the end of each meeting someone would flash up on a laptop the significant stock indices using D1 candlesticks and a dozen or so other interesting or topical charts. We would each say Buy or Sell depending on what we thought would happen next. At the following meeting we reviewed the outcomes. The people who saw charts which started at bottom left and which ended at top right and said Buy always won.
