Well I don't believe the polls in the first place, but I thought Nates statement had some decent logic in it. leaving that aside, I won't be surprised at all if Trump wins.
back early in the 2012 thread / race when the polls were super skewed I am sure I said things like that. I was predicting unskewing then and I was correct then... as I was correct this year. not sure what more you could expect from an amateur. I we got close to election and I learned about proper polling I explained... that the polls using the 2008 or 2010 models were good polls. how many times did I tell you that I explained that the polls which were using the 2008 or or 2010 turnout templates were the correct models. do I have to link to that post again.
no... those were todays polls. you are being fricken obtuse on purpose. I told you this whole thread that the proper template is about the 2012 turnout which was Dem plus 4. so a poll which revealed its template to be about dem plus 4 was is a good poll. I also predicted the herding and it happened because many of the polls you loved were skewed garbage until a week or so ago.
this post was for the 2012 election. the template I suggested for this election was about the 2012 template. D plus 4 give or take a little.
alex jones reports that the Nov 7th Reuters poll had trump up by 6.. but then it was pulled. http://www.infowars.com/report-reuters-pulls-polls-showing-huge-trump-surge/ I also note these headlines look really bad for hillary... (REUTERS) Americans who had cast their votes for the next president early on Tuesday appeared to be worried about the direction of the country, and were looking for a “strong leader who can take the country back from the rich and powerful,” according to an early reading from the Reuters/Ipsos national Election Day poll. The poll of more than 10,000 people who have already cast their ballots in the presidential election showed a majority of voters are worried about their ability to get ahead and have little confidence in political parties or the media to improve their situation. A majority also feel that the economy is rigged to mostly help the wealthy. The poll, which will be updated as additional responses are tallied and votes are counted throughout Tuesday, found: – 75 percent agree that “America needs a strong leader to take the country back from the rich and powerful.” – 72 percent agree “the American economy is rigged to advantage the rich and powerful.” – 68 percent agree that “traditional parties and politicians don’t care about people like me.” – 76 percent believe “the mainstream media is more interested in making money than telling the truth.” Read the rest of the story at Reuters.com.
