while I did not put much thought into this when I wrote it. the fact that I said sermons and not homilies meant I was not expecting too much from the priests on this. The priests I hear are generally apolitical or a bit left. Once or twice a year the priest may read a letter from the bishops... that can be political. So I was really speaking about the sermons one might hear in a evangelical (or very bible centered) protestant church which I have been too with family member who are not Catholic.

I tell you what I will go to a democrat club and push my pro bernie agenda... if you find my arguments so frustrating make your own. I have no idea why you are always worried about what I do in real life.

The cheating of Bernie has clear evidence behind it now. Clinton was provided the debate questions for her debates with Bernie from more than one channel. I would hope that some of those people, particularly those who want to see the establishment reformed, would consider Donald Trump an agent of change.

Trump is a vulgar man. Sometimes in our history this country has wanted, needed and subsequently benefited from the leadership of such a person. The situation is so dire that Trump's belief in America and his signaled intent to restore sanity to our affairs is enough. He has my vote.

it even pissed off Ryan so much he seems to be back in line...

so we should be tolerant of faiths like muslims but not the faiths everyday tax paying (and some wealthy) Americans have?

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...rump-begins-pushing-trump-campaign-narrative/

Late Wednesday afternoon, Ryan’s team issued a statement from the Speaker on the emails that surfaced via WikiLeaks showing the Hillary Clinton campaign’s spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri’s disdain for Catholics. Ryan said in the statement:

The Clinton campaign’s disdain for the Catholic faith and Christian evangelicals is staggering. Catholicism has been the catalyst for the creation of hospitals, orphanages, and much of the university system across the world. To disparage the Catholic Church as ‘severely backwards’ is an insult to millions of people across the nation. If anything, these statements reveal the Clinton campaign’s hostile attitude toward people of faith in general. This is the United States of America—for centuries, people fled to our shores to find refuge from religious persecution. All Americans of faith should take a long, hard look at this and decide if these are the values we want to be represented in our next president. If Hillary Clinton continues to employ people with biased and bigoted views, it’s clear where her priorities lie.

That statement falls in line with what the Trump campaign had pushed on a conference call with reporters earlier on Wednesday.

“The hostility to religious liberty and the beliefs that we hold as Catholics should not go unnoticed or unpunished,” Trump campaign manager KellyAnne Conway said on the call. “We call on Hillary Clinton to apologize and to fire the staff who have engaged in this vicious anti-Catholic bigotry. All of this shows who these people are at the core.”

Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has increased to seven points, as more than half of voters say he is not qualified to be president.

That’s according to a just-released national Fox News Poll of likely voters.

Clinton receives 45 percent to Trump’s 38 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 7 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 3 percent. Last week, Clinton was up by two points in the four-way contest (44-42 percent).

In the two-way matchup, it’s Clinton over Trump by eight (49-41 percent). She had a four-point edge a week ago (48-44 percent, Oct. 3-6).

Clinton’s lead is outside the poll’s margin of sampling error in both the two-way and four-way contests.

The poll, out Thursday, was conducted Monday-Wednesday. The second presidential debate was Sunday.

what the hell is wrong with you.... I just told you that any poll that does not release its internals is a crap poll to me that Rasumuessen does not seem to release their internal R vs D vs I. so its a crap poll.

Can you read? tony? why would you come back and lie about what I think about Rasumuessen now.

"However, by my definition it is a crap poll because they don't reveal their template.
So it and 75% of the polls you cite are crap polls as they either don't reveal their poll methodology, skew it outside the range of legitimacy or they have been shown to manipulate their internals to create a result. "

that fox poll... I am pretty sure its a crap poll too. .... I could not find the R vs D vs I breakdown either.

It did however show 47 to 41 the people were voting for a democrat over a republican for congress. I have never seen more than 50/50 before... and those polls could have been skewed.

So it looks to me that fox poll is a very skewed crap polls. If you do find the R vs D vs I breakdown in any of the polls you like lets us know.

otherwise we will just assume they are crap polls for now.
