This is very surprising to me. About 2 weeks of self control and good speeches and Trump erases a huge deficit in the Reuters poll even after they massive adjusted their pool to give hillary and 8 point lead. I think this shows that the race is now clearly in Trumps hands. If he continues to act like a President and sticks to his far more popular anti establishment policies... he will win. (He is also now tied in the IBD poll after being down 6 or seven recently. I expect NBC and PPP to come out with a few crazy "outliar" polls asap.) http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presi...-hillary-clinton-despite-altered-methodology/ Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has pulled into an effective tie with Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, erasing a substantial deficit as he consolidated support among his party’s likely voters in recent weeks, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos national tracking poll released Friday. The poll showed 40 percent of likely voters supporting Trump and 39 percent backing Clinton for the week of Aug. 26 to Sept. 1. Clinton’s support has dropped steadily in the weekly tracking poll since Aug. 25, eliminating what had been a eight-point lead for her. Trump’s gains came as Republican support for their party’s candidate jumped by six percentage points over the past two weeks, to about 78 percent. That is still below the 85 percent support Republican nominee Mitt Romney enjoyed in the summer of 2012, but the improvement helps explain Trump’s rise in the poll.
You put a lot of effort into this. If Trump loses comfortably in the election, will you admit you were wrong ? I admit that a country that elected George W. twice ( an openly stupid man ) could elect Trump. I just don't think the US will elect a man who shows no decent respect for woman or many ethnic groups. Trump may or may not be competent in the business aspects of being President. My surface feelings are is I suspect he'd be mediocre. My reasons are : One, he makes simplistic and unrealistic statements about trade deals with other countries; Two, many of his own business projects going bankrupt leaving a trail of disappointed investors suggest he's not that much different then the banker guys who created the subprime fiasco. Vote him in and you'll find out. Even if he succeeds in implementing some decent new policies, I can't see any scenario where the US doesn't have significantly higher personal taxes. Are the people of the US open to this reality ? I am familiar with this scenario because when I was in my twenties, personal tax rates in Canada were extremely high even for middle class people.
Hillary, the entire Clinton crime family and their associates will be going to prison for a very long time if she loses. So she better win for her own sake. Death penalty still exists in Arkansas for treason. Easy to make a treason case against Clinton and try her in Arkansas.
I am not saying Trump will win. I just hope the sake of the next generation that our country realizes it can not elect a woman as crooked and deceitful as Hillary to the Presidency. I would take Kapernick of Hillary. If Hillary gets elected you can kiss the economic future of anybody but a crony good bye... And when she is done with supreme court you can flush the bill or rights as well. We will be a crony controlled people if Hillary wins. Of course if Obama succeeds in giving the internet away... some day this post may be erased.
1.PPP and NBC are not crazy "outliar" polls ,they were 2 of the most accurate polls in the 2012 election. 2.In credible/RCP polls this race is not in tied in terms points ahead or majority of recent polls ahead. 3.Trump has to do much better than be tied or even a small lead in the polls to actually be ahead because of the huge democrat edge in the electoral college and large minority populations in swing states.Remember Obama only won by 4 points in the popular vote but won by 126 in the electoral college.Trump could be ahead by 4 points in the popular vote and RCP average but still and likely be down in the electoral college.
Trump or Clinton? Why CafePress' sales might be the most accurate presidential poll CafePress is a company that sells political signs and gear online since 1999 and they say their sales have accurately predicted the winner of every single presidential election since they were founded. So who's the winner now? Trump in a landslide. http://www.bizjournals.com/louisvil...-clintonwhy-cafepress-sales-might-be-the.html
Nate Silver says PPP is a shamelessly biased polling firm. Nate Silver: Public Policy Polling "the biggest herders in the business" http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/...y-Polling-the-biggest-herders-in-the-business They not only 'put their thumbs on the scales', but they also use every other trick to make their polls come out where they want them to.
