the politically incorrect truth why TA can't work (for you)

  1. This is the politically incorrect thread so here goes. No shit Einstein! My own ability and together with the tools I use. A carpenter needs skills to use his hammer but what happens if you take his hammer away.

Everyone can profit, they are just too stubborn not to mention stupid. They trade what they think not what they see. Like all the morons going long on RIMM and FACEBOOK etc.
That's why they remain in the 95% club!

Look at ITP.To! I put my wife's RRSP in there at $6.49 at end of May, 90 days ago. It's up 38%, that's 12% per month! Even my children understand the simplicity.

But how many ET'ers are open minded enough? The mind works like a parachute, only when it is open. How many ET'ers make 12% per month?

They want to remain in the 95% club where it is cozy and comfortable. Everyone gets exactly what they are looking for from the markets. Most traders only want to be right.

Please do yourself a favor and quit while you are ahead..... You make continuous silly statements.

  4. Give a man a map or a revolving/dynamic map and the man gets an edge to win the grand prix or at the least dive from A to B.:D

  5. LOL. Sorry jnbadger. Google bigmiketrading, look at the number of members and guests and compare with ET. Worse than the stats is the membership here is free but they pay there so that threads stay on topic.

Then read the following thread to see Baron's take on ET...

Now as for the "why" question, I think that is like Surf's gold call and thinking all is well when the ship is sinking. Some people see a trend and believe in it - some don't.

If you can beat a free model with a paid model when both have similar content provided by the membership, you're either very clever or competing against ...

  7. Well the pitch is you get better content and no mulit - aliases, trash posting etc.

Personally I don't subscribe to paying to post but it seems to be very popular. Perhaps one day...

  8. Do you see yourself in this description of ET forum Mr oilfx......

I have a number of possible explanations for that. Real traders exasperated by pretend traders. Outrage at con artists who hustle the gullible. Posters who pose as gurus but speak in the most turbid turgid manner imaginable. Totally ignorate noobs who seek advice and then argue with you about it. Idiot sponsors who post the same announcement in six different fora. Sock puppets talking to themselves. Trading psychologists who don't trade. Non-native speaker spammers who think they're being subtle. That's just for starters.
