  1. It is a good journal.

  2. Thank you! If I can save one person from blowing up that would make me happy! Question, with my IBKR account posted on page 1, it's blown deep in the $20s to make it interesting should I knock it back to $5k or is there something IBKR gives no buying power on to keep building?

  3. Played Huge, 500 limit $9.50, filled at $9.50, scaling up to $10.00(bought more shares), limit order $11, filled at $10.75 and final buy was $11.

Sell prices all in the $12s, stock is heading back up, going to churn it. Should I dump my IBKR account down to $5k or try to turn it into $50k Some ideas on how to keep buying power low on it would be appreciated.

  4. Why not pick a funding level that you will start each week or month with and sweep profits at the end of the week (or month) and start fresh. So, maybe you take $5k Monday morning, and see what you work it up to by the end of the day Friday, and sweep the excess from the account (while also accounting for any unsettled funds) So your buying power is back to the starting level.

I'd feel handcuffed by the PDT, so I'd start with $25K, but that's me.

  5. I have several PDT accounts, I requested to open another account with IBKR to split it half. What's your plan on the trade schedule? If I knew you were up earlier I would have told you to buy 300 or 600 shares of huge at $9.5 when I started chasing it. We could have sold together at $12.50 or $12.74 with ease as long as we both did not have 5000 shares.

  6. HUGE halted now news pending - I wonder if they are going to announce a secondary pre-mkt? I guess they din't get the memo that they should keep their mouth shut until the afternoon to announce such things. Conjecture on my part, of course.

EDIT: I would not take a 5000 share size of a low float premarket at that price range. I would have done 300 to 500 shares at 9.50

  7. At 4am it was moving very logically, why halted when its been dancing around logically unless there's a rat?

  8. Good News you think, hoping for good news on PGEN because its a cancer company. Same with CLSN, that's if you like biotechs.

  9. News pending is what I am seeing - that is why I was suggesting maybe they are going to take this opportunity to announce a secondary. I don't know if they have a shelf registration and I haven't found an S-3.

  10. I think a secondary takes the shares down hard, wouldn't you? If so might be good for a rebound rally. Especially if current longs get scared out on the re-open on account of the halt.
