Hi, ended the day way beyond the first PL I posted on the WWR thread. It was my first entry buying at $2.50s and selling before it hit $2.90. Its not a large amount of risk taken because I scale up as momentum goes in my favor. Next week I should be able to show on WWR I made +$10k. After WWR kept going nuts I figured it would blow past $4 like it did early in After hours this week.
Great results! Generally what strike price or delta are you buying theses calls in relation to the underlying price, and what expiration?
I was trading WWR on Friday and only trade LEAPs. I am still am unfortunately in a trading halt after I bought shares at $4.40 in Pre-Market.
The options I own are Z Feb $90-$100s, MRVL Feb $40s. PINS Nov $35 rolled AAPL March $110s, AMAT March $60s, LOW Jan $155s, CHWY Jan $55s are just a few of what I buy. Learned the hard way short term options can be great and screw you over.
Hi, personally I would buy the $100s because of the higher delta, I wish Dest was here because he's probably one of the best option traders on Elite. He's a pretty decent guy who pulls down 7 figures annually trading and is cool about answering a good honest question.
My biggest loses trading options were buying Weeklies (Out of the money), if you love a stock like Apple the most time and closer to strike has personally helped me out.
Thanks! So even though you pay a lot in extrinsic value you expect to make much more in the underlying increase in the stock price.
JesseJamesFinn1: Very impressive performance! Suppose you trade Spy options, what kind of options on directional bet would you be holding? Thank you.
