  1. Good chance of closing in on your profit figure tomorrow. Nasdaq has been drastically underperforming Dow and S&P for the year, so it might try to catch up here. Overnight move is so far in your favor as well. I am also long going into tomorrow.

    We shall see. The profit target distance is well above the daily range for QQQ. I certainly would not argue if it was hit today though :D

    Moving stop to break even (84.32) on this QQQ trade. My thinking is that if we get down to that level there is a good chance we are in a topping pattern with further downside likely and I am not willing to risk having this trade turn from a winner to a loser.

    Just entered a trade based on the massive selling recently. The setup is the fact that SPY has been below its lower bollinger band for 4 days in a row. I am going to hold for 2 days. The signal was for SPY but I bought it's equivalent futures contract ES at 1825.50

    The pattern can be backtested here:

    Results are attached.

    2014 was a good trading year for me. With the trades posted here along with a big win I had in an oil stock I had been holding several years and was fortunate to sell close to the top (CLR), my account is up 21% this year.

    I continue to develop my backtesting tool and should have some new features in the coming months that should further improve my results.

    See you next year!

    First trades of of 2015 are shown below. I have been super busy and was a couple days late getting into the trades which resulted in a better price.

    Both my XLU and UNG trades are underwater right now.

    On another note, I have added two more strategies to the mix and am able to backtest all of my strategies together in a Strategy Portfolio. The Strategy Portfolio I am currently trading can be seen and backtested here:

    http://www.fasterbull.com/members/strategy-portfolio-builder.html?id=22

    The Strategy Portfolio consists of three separate asset allocations.

    My two new Relative Strength strategies have me in at:

    ticker = EEM
    entry = 42.84

    Signals for the strategies can found here:
    http://www.fasterbull.com/members/strategy-scanner.html

    I will organize this journal a bit more to accurately keep track of any changes to the Strategy Portfolio in addition to quantities to track what exactly is going on in my account.

    thanks
