Only a few weeks ago... you were predicting a variant apocalypse and I had to tell you... you were a moron...
Actually I stated the U.S. was in a race between rising vaccinations and increasing variants out until June. It has been critical to reduce the cases and community spread while we tried to win this race. Fortunately due to rising vaccinations it appears the U.S. is winning this race -- however the stall in vaccinations due to the vaccine hesitancy can put a damper on the entire situation as we go into the fall. As predicted -- recommendations on restrictions would be eased by the CDC as the U.S. made progress in vaccinations. Sadly due to anti-vaxxers the U.S. will not reach herd immunity -- we will have enough people vaccinated to slow the spread -- but COVID will remain ever-present in our communities, likely leading to regional or local restrictions when COVID breaks out in a city or community. If you want to totally eliminate COVID and get back to life the way it was before COVID appeared then nearly everyone needs to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Science will of course advance therapeutics and anti-vaxxer, science deniers will claim victory as rate of fatalities drop.
gwbe-fearmongering stated: "Europe recognizes this is a crisis and is taking active measures to lockdown. " You were advocating lockdowns....and you were acting like the governors should not be easing restrictions. you were stupid and fear mongering as usual.
If your country has a low COVID vaccination rate (like most of Europe) and rising COVID cases then you better be locking down & imposing restrictions for the health of your citizens. Basic common sense based on proper public health practices.
Its amazing you are still this stupid even weeks later. ... after seeing lockdown areas which follow you advice having to lock down over and over... While Texas and Florida, defying your lock down stupidity and dire warnings of apocalypse then variant apocalypse are seeing their infections and death rates steadily declining. You are a fascist drone... and a lying moron.
