Man I drove by a strip center today in a primo area.... 2 anchor tenants, off the top of my head I forget one, but the other was a Planet Fitness. I couldn't believe my eyes..... everything in between the two was empty. I don't mean closed, I mean empty.

  3. There have been other ominous developments, but ironically enough, I’ve been so busy at work, I’ve been building up a sleep debt! More to follow, but for now, good night!

But if you want to open one now. You build it out with covid in mind. More outdoor seating etc. maybe open like couple months from now. Kinda like your liquor lic idea.

  5. And then what? You develop a successful model that requires the presence of covid.

So then you become like Here4Money and Usual Tard, praying for more covid and cringing when you hear about possible vaccines. Praying for lockdowns forever.

No, with the loss of restaurants during covid, your competition will now be thinner and some don’t have outside seating. I see tons of closed never to be open again restaurants down here. I wouldn’t be praying for a lockdown at all. Just entering a market that might be right for the reaping. I said build out using covid in mind in case needed In the future. And by now I don’t necessarily mean today as we might be in the 1st inning.

What Here4BS and Usual Dumdum do not realize is when the extreme liberals succeed in destroying lots of businesses that are shutdown and ends up bankrupt, they will suffer the same fate in their own countries. They will lose their jobs and their taxes will go thru the roof like all the extreme liberal run Democrat states in the US. Business shutdowns also, have the added bonus of hurting more extreme liberals like communist professors, extreme liberal, elite colleges and universities, extreme liberals in lower paying jobs whose businesses have gone under. So, keep rooting for US deaths, US job lossses and the US economy tanking. When the US market is one of the largest in the world, how will your countries do without the US purchasing your country's goods as before? That is right. You will lose tens of millions of jobs, just like the US. Enjoy it dummies.

A rarely agree with Paul Krugman but I agree with him here...
“We squandered the chance to actually bring this thing (the coronavirus) under control".

Paul Krugman: ‘One Way Or Another, The Economy Is Going To Lock Down Again

“One way or another, the economy is going to lock down again,” warned Paul Krugman on Tuesday night.

“This is where we’ve gotten to,” the noted economist lamented to CNN’s Don Lemon. “We squandered the chance to actually bring this thing (the coronavirus) under control,” he said, pointing to the premature reopening of states (encouraged by President Donald Trump), which led to a devastating resurgence of COVID-19.

Krugman predicted a new lockdown would come about either “because governors and hopefully the president finally says ‘OK, we screwed it up, we need to do it over again’ or just because people are too afraid” to go out and resume business as usual.

The economist, awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2008, also cast doubt on Trump’s upbeat assessment of the economy.

Krugman, who earlier this month slammed the Trump administration’s handling of the public health crisis with an analogy about the Titanic, noted how “every indicator we have is that the recovery has stalled.”

When the President was on TV saying “we only had 15 total cases and it’s just a flu” was the moment.
