  2. Or what Duyba called "fuzzy math". It's all crap and we're subject to it day and night. So what happens today? The numbskulls over at FOX will engage in a giant circle jerk and tell us how fucking great the economy is. Over at CNN they will tell us about the 'peaceful" protests while minimizing or completely ignore all the rioting and looting. Meanwhile Main Street America is burning to the ground figuratively, and now quite literally. There is so much mis-information and outright lies it's nearly impossible to sift through it's exhausting, so what do the people do? They just buy into whatever bullshit aligns with their own bias, and we all have some.
This murder of Mr. Floyd is a perfect example. How in the hell can we be so divided as a nation on something which everyone agrees on in principle? The guy was murdered, everyone agrees. Prosecute the cops. Everyone agrees. Protests are warranted. Everyone agrees. A just cause protest does not warrant burning down businesses. Everyone agrees. Everyone being genuinely concerned people who aren't fucking insane, of which there are a few. But what does this lying fucking media do? One side tells us there is a genocide on black people being committed by the police. The other side tells us there is nothing but rioting and looting going on. So what do we do? We minimize what the other side has to protest about. Nine unarmed black men killed by cops is a genocide? Please. Some buildings burned down, hey, it can all be replaced. How in the hell can we not agree that whatever the number of unarmed dead men killed by cops it's too fucking many? Whatever the number of businesses destroyed is too many. This is my core problem with what the media is doing to this country. Are we as a nation helpless? No. Are we just too lazy, and more to the point just too exhausted by it all to demand facts and stop the bullshit lying. Yes, we are as a nation stuck in a position where it's just easier to buy the crap that pushes our own agendas. You sir are not my enemy. None of you are regardless of your political position. Those lying no good fucks in media and in our government, THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT they are the enemy, and until we all agree on that there is nothing which will help us out of this shit, and they, knowing this fact, will do their level best to keep us at each others throats.

Job numbers have always been crap. Suddenly the left cares about them when it makes Trump look better. But during Obama, it was all the rage. Remember the "jobs saved and created" mantra? Same shit, different leader.

Having a proper lockdown leads to the following...

New Zealand lifts all Covid restrictions, declaring the nation virus-free
    BBC - https://tinyurl.com/ycflzj47

New Zealand has lifted almost all of its coronavirus restrictions after reporting no active cases in the country.

At midnight local time (12:00 GMT), all of New Zealand moved to level one, the lowest of a four-tier alert system.

Under new rules, social distancing is not required and there are no limits on public gatherings, but borders remain closed to foreigners.

New Zealand has reported no new Covid-19 cases for more than two weeks.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told reporters she did "a little dance" when she was told the country no longer had any active virus cases.

"While we're in a safer, stronger position, there's still no easy path back to pre-Covid life, but the determination and focus we have had on our health response will now be vested in our economic rebuild," Ms Ardern said.

"While the job is not done, there is no denying this is a milestone. So can I finish with a very simple, 'Thank you, New Zealand'."

    'A sustained effort'
New Zealand first went into lockdown on 25 March, setting up a new four-stage alert system and going in at level four, where most businesses were shut, schools closed and people told to stay at home.

After more than five weeks, it moved to level three in April, allowing takeaway food shops and some non-essential businesses to re-open.

As the number of community cases continued to decline, the country moved into level two in mid-May.

The move to level one comes ahead of time - the government had originally planned to make the move on 22 June, but it was brought forward after no new cases were reported for 17 days.

Under the new rules, all schools and workplaces can open. Weddings, funerals and public transport can resume without any restrictions. Social distancing is no longer required but will be encouraged.

The country's borders remain closed to foreign travellers, and rules remain in place requiring New Zealanders arriving from abroad to go through a 14-day period of isolation or quarantine.

Ms Ardern warned that the country would "certainly see cases again", adding that "elimination is not a point in time, it is a sustained effort".

New Zealand has recorded 1,154 confirmed cases and 22 deaths from Covid-19 since the virus arrived in late February, but has been widely praised for its handling of the crisis.

For many, the latest announcement is a cause for celebration - but not without caution. Auckland-based lorry driver Patrick Weston told the BBC: "Everyone is so happy we're finally through this, but we're still nervous.

"I think the main thing people are worried about is the economy - so many people out of work, so many people looking for work at the same time.

"[On Tuesday] all restrictions are lifted and we can carry on as normal. Sporting events, music events can all take place with no restriction of numbers. We're still being encouraged to social distance of course, so we hope people will be sensible.

"We're happy, but nervous about the future."

Are you advising we should have closed our borders to foreigners and keep them closed like NZ?

Just about every country has closed borders now. Some countries in Europe are starting to open them. Most countries still require a 14 day quarantine if you go there. The majority of countries including New Zealand only allow their own citizens entry.

so for those of you tired of the leftist propaganda...
We have a site that puts the data in a useful context....

    When viewed in this context...
    at the moment

its very hard to see why we shut down after the hospital beds were empty. .

We should be seeing a huge spike in cases and death in open areas per the doomers.

Frankly, I expect a big spike in cases...

this is amazing to me at the moment.
