RIMM earnings tonight suggest economy pretty decent. TSX and NASDAQ should rally tommorrow on the news. Outlook was pretty decent as well. This is the main catalyst to higher markets : corporate earnings. I say this over and over again but it is ignored on here in favour of an overstated macroeconomic theories and "manipulation" ideas. Back in the 1990s, a technology company didn't even have to have revenue to go up . Now we have companies like RIMM and GOOG pulling in huge earnings ( not funny money at all ). Consumer base is growing worldwide despite US/Europe headaches.
