You do realize the states in the U.S. with the best roads, best city services, etc... all have non-unionized government employees.

These states have laws in place to protect state/local employees from political turnover -- without the need for a union --- while providing superior service.

Do you have any examples or studies you’re basing this off of?

  3. Not really. She seeks a remedy that has no authority under state or fed law.

As I said yesterday, if she has valid fraud allegations against individuals she can pursue them and I dont have an opinion or knowledge of what she has. But the remedy she seeks through legal action is the abolishment of the NRA. Totally outside her scope of authority. If she has a hard on for the wellbeing of the NRA the she could arguably ask the court to put the direction of the organization into some type of receivership and appointed director while problems are being addressed. You know, like what you would do if there were trouble in Planned Parenthood. Instead she not only wants to eliminate the organization but she wants to seize and redistribute their funds to other causes.

You and your ilk just keep creating campaign material for Trump. They should be sending her a check. He has no votes to lose in New York so why not use them as an example of what a lefty takeover would look like- along with examples from collapsed lefty cities.

Wrong. Dissolution is totally in the scope of NYs authority. The question is how far off it’s charter the NRA has gone. It’s wildly off, by the way.

The NRA filed a lawsuit in federal court Claiming that dissolution would stifle its freedom of speech but there are other gun rights organizations to serve that purpose. Stop watching Fox News.

  5. The Trump foundation was placed under the supervision of the court and then was dissolved by the Trumps when they decided they did not want to continue because it would be a hassle and a conflict to address all of that during a presidency and the the accepted that as a resolution. I am not going to try the case here but the allegation was that it was not doing charitable work or work within the scope of its authorization. That's a tough argument to make for the NRA. As discussed, a case can be made possibly that there was misconduct/fraud (I don't know) and that individuals need to be prosecuted and removed but it is hard to make a case that the organization itself and its mission is bogus. In the Trump case, they agreed to dissolve as part of a settlement and no one was asking for continuation of the work under a court appointed or approved leadership.

I don't doubt that the NRA may decide to relocate some things to another state regardless of the outcome of the case but she is not going to get their assets or close them down as an organization. The Loon AG ran on a platform of harassing the NRA and Trump so she just wants the fight for her base. Although I can see the NRA fighting it bigtime just out of principle even though to just move might be easier. They have big legal bucks. Fine. Let the games begin. As I have conceded if there is organization wide misconduct I can recognize the power of the court to appoint/approve management under court direction. Dissolution? That's another matter. You have compared it to Trump's situation where he did not want the hassle so agreed to close. The NRA is up for the hassle.

Oh, and be careful tards. There is misconduct and a lot of loose gold digging going on in the NRA. a lot of NRA types would be happy to see some people there leave. If the court does its job right, it will result in a stronger NRA.

    For our union critics...
The executive management team met and collectively decided to do something about all this worker collectivization.

It’s actually a very easy case to make that organization, the NRA, is corrupt to the core and irredeemable due to its web of funding and illegal activity.

We are not talking about a one off incident here. We are talking about deep fraud. It’s not like remove 4 guys and it’s all good.

But they will have to decide whether to go to court and face a full airing out or try to cut a deal with James. My guess is they will accept involuntary dissolution for no criminal charges in NY.

What will not happen is NY will let the NRA just move to another state where they can continue their corrupt racket. That is not within the realm of possibilities.
