wait a second here... that is not 2.5 degrees? and no warming since before 1990... I think you might have to look at other causes. drought perhaps in the west... but in the east?
Dammit, this the chart... http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cag/time-s...ase=10&firsttrendyear=1960&lasttrendyear=2014
wow you can't even pick charts that support your b.s. and you are calling other dimwit. that blue line represents about a degree since 1960 but recent temperatures are looking pretty low don't you think. in your theory what part of that temperature chart are the beetles responding too? and what is your scientific explanantion and background for that speculation. the beetles invaded shea stadium in 1963 or so... but these beetles were probably not alive then.
Perhaps you should start a glossary thread of fraudcurrentisms to help everyone translate your gibberish.
So OK, the NE has gotten 2.5 degrees warmer since 1960 allowing the southern pine beetle to move in. Same thing is happening in the west. So forests are starting to die. Just a small taste of what's to come. Moving on... http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/2...e-energy-innovation-and-co2-rules/#more-54678
