What is increasingly clear is that there will be a huge segment of the US population that will never have a segment of time in their lives called retirement. There is one basic reason for this.... No savings The secondary reason.... There is no reward for savings... ............................................................................. Thus the standing proof that there will be no such thing as a large retired segment of the US population.... That is of course if the cost of living is not free.... .............................................................................. What there will be is a lot of old broke people living in the same houses as their children....if they have any....maybe their children will live in the parents home as well.... It will be all one big happy family....
Once upon a time, it was always like that. Sounds a lot better than living in a senior citizens assisted living center.
