Depends of who it is reading. For an idiot (I don't refer to you) everything is trivial. The more intelligent you are the more non trivial things might appear. Then you will see what is important and what is not.
While US market might or might not be entering a bear market, China market will be soon if not already in bear market territory. Short China as much as you can and short often. Both sides will get hurt in a trade war but China will be hurt more. Starting Monday we will probably see China market unravel pretty fast..
Easy...patient. Bear market doesn’t go down in a single day or week or months. How long was the 2008 bear or 2000 bear last?
Tough call. Seems like the markets want to go up. What would you consider a confirmation that we are in fact trending down on a long term basis? I mean I hope you're right... but earnings are coming in strong. Even without the tax cut smoke and mirrors... so far it looks like organic top line growth is strong. What would be the catalyst for a multiple contraction? War? But what if we count that out? Then what?
I’m TA and chart guy. So don’t care about none of that stuffs: politics, wars, fundamentals, news etc. The confirmation for me is if it has broken multiple support line.
Well I'm really not a "T/A guy", but which support levels were breached that prompted you to come to the conclusion that a bear market has kicked off? And how did you know those levels weren't merely a correction? Now history has is that most bear markets start with a recession. Politics, war, fundamentals.... these all seem important. They're not?
And that is just it...Politics and "war" have always been present, or as one would say, "possible". But the fundamentals seems way too strong for a bear argument! Why the heck should we all not be long?!? Just because it has been a 10 year bull? Ugggg.
ah....traders all have different opinions. you have your own and i have my own. we will see who is right or wrong 6 months from today? let me throw you another bone. i traded some energy stocks today and got paid.
