    Hi All,

I have recently joined ET and have really enjoyed the comments from all forums I have read. I am at the stage in my life where I feel I really need to decide on a 10yr career plan - fun!!

I am 24 and graduated in 2005 with a 2.1 BSc degree, majoring in Maths. I then worked nearly 2yrs as a trade assistant for Susquehanna (17bn AUM prop firm), I then moved to London where I joined Goldman Security Services on their Prime Brokerage Client Relationship team on a 6month contract. My current situation is that my contract was terminated 2weeks ago and I'm now trying to decide on which route to take.

I loved working on a trading floor - the excitment and the buzz plus the intelligent people I worked with. I took the job at GS because I love dealing with people and its one of my key skills but I really missed the trading floor. Now with the markets being so volitile I'm battling with so many roads to take.

    1. Trade Assistant at one of the top banks
    2. Trade Assistant at a hedge fund where I would probably learn
