I do feel freedom and balance are what makes our country great. Well....part of what makes it great. I just don't feel the Democrats are about balance! So I guess we have to agree to disagree, or not speak.

It would be great if we could have a president who realizes the importance of both. However we hvae had the conservative way of thinking for a while, even Clinton didn't touch the markets and the economy soared. Great, that was deregulation (small government) working, but now its gone so far out of balance that the regulations have to be put on heavily so now is what I what i see as the time to be reliant on big government, until we can get back off our feet. Then we can go back to our old deregulation ways until this whole cycle repeats itself.

The irony here is that there were plenty of jobs for you to choose among back in Carter's days. Not today, except for the relative few with skills that are in high demand, and even then they risk getting a bad rep for switching jobs too frequently. Then you said What the hell does this have to do with your prior statement?? Again, what does this have to do with your prior statement?? And then, in a bizarre twist, you say...
