I think the creator of that video is over reacting and should stay away from horror films: the word God does not always need to be capitalised, like when we refer to Mars being a god of war, etc.
The MS spell checker is just not sophisticated enough to tell the difference.

Yes, because when the word is used it is always is in reference to the same entity, but with the word god it may refer to our God or another god.
