  2. The only problem is that a lot more people will be praying that it goes faster.

  3. Yes, because science is such a great tool for measuring things that god has repeatedly said must be measured with faith.

  4. Here is a good analogy for some of you atheists. When I was a kid, we were taught how to swim (imagine that). We stood beside the pool, did strokes with our hands, watched others swim to take in the information so that we could do it also. We were taught how to tread water, how to dive correctly and basically how not to drown.

All of these things, relating to science, are precise ideas, theories and conjectures that are placed within someone's head so that they can learn, emulate and function with these new ideas.

However, the day came when we had to jump into the 9 foot section of the pool and tread water for the very first time. Most of the kids were scared to death to just jump in. Although we knew how to do everything after being taught, the one last thing we needed to understand and accept was FAITH.

It is FAITH that allows you to jump in the pool and tread water when the rest of your mind is screaming, "No, don't do it! You're going to die!"

So I just associate most atheists with the kids who are standing beside a pool of life just fearful to jump in and tread the waters of ontology.

  5. Groan... you're confusing self-confidence/self-esteem with belief in imaginary spirits. Apples and oranges.
