The new civil war begins...

  1. LA will be lucky if they are not sued over this. Boycotts raise numerous legal issues, from antitrust to equal protection. How can it be constitutional to deny everyone in arizona the opportunities everyone else has?

Typical of the left. When they want to make a point, the law goes out the window. When they are able to dictate what the law is, as by unelected judges making up constitutional rights, then of course we're all supposed to fall quietly into line.

I wonder what their reaction would be if 15 or 20 conservative states agreed to boycott california? Or Massachusetts because of gay marriage?

Portland, Ore., may return to neighborhood schools model
It might once have been labeled segregationist, but busing and other efforts have failed to foster diversity.

  6. I know a lot of rich liberals who will get in your face if they think you have said anything slightly dismissive of civil rights, diversity, urban black culture, forced bussing or public schools. Every single one of them sends their own kids to all white, hyper-expensive private schools. No exceptions, even the ones who live in Montgomery County, MD, which has the highest household income in the country. No way they will let their kid sit next to a minority, or a poor white kid either.
