A yet-to-air reality show documenting a rapper, who has fathered eleven children by ten different women, has been slammed by critics who have branded it 'disgusting' and 'negative'.

All My Babies' Mamas, set to air this spring on the Oxygen network, follows Carlos 'Shawty Lo' Walker, 36, as he navigates family life in an affluent suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

But after a preview of the one-hour, fly-on-the-wall hit the internet thousands of viewers called for it to be scrapped, with many suggesting it plays on racial stereotypes.

A Change.org petition, which has more than 20,000 signatures, states that the show 'stereotypes and demeans black children, mothers and dads'.

New York-based Sabrina Lamb, who launched the initiative explains: 'This is not just an attack on African-American parents and children....but all parents and children.

'As dysfunctional and violent as so-called reality shows are, could you ever imagine a one hour spectacle where 11 children are forced to witness their 10 unwed mothers clamor for financial support, emotional attention and sexual reward from Shawty-Lo, the apathetic ‘father’?'

Controversial: Rapper Shawty Lo, pictured with eight of his 11 children (seated) and seven of the women that he fathered them with, as well as his 19-year-old girlfriend (left), are all set to star in a new TV show/

The moral decay is just astonishing.

  4. The cold hard truth is that this reality show more closely resembles actual reality in the urban black community than any other reality show resembles whatever it is they're trying to depict. The urban back family structure is in a complete meltdown, fostered and facilitated by the radical left.

I guess I'm the only one who spewed coffee out of his nose and onto his laptop screen while reading this.

Do all of you guys check your sense of humor at the door upon entering ET or were you just born without a sense of humor?

I'm glad it gave you a laugh. Unfortunately, this is SOP in the black community but nearly all of the others are broke men and women and us tax payers wind up paying for the kids and the abortions.

It would have been funny, if it weren't both real and all too common.

this may be a be a well chosen example...
but when I read that 70 percent of kids are being born out of wedlock, I know that liberal policies of had destroyed families.

david stockman predicted this would happen in the 1980s.
the austrian school economists predicted it.

its the logical outcome when you pay people to have kids.
and people lose benes when they get jobs.

  9. This is clearly a result of the no-birth-control-or-abortion conservative right agenda. I'll bet most of these women were regular church-goers. Just another example of the decline of our society due to backwards hypocritical conservative policies.

  10. Eleven children and ten different women won the ghetto lottery. They all can claim a piece of Shawty Lo. Life doesn't get any better than that. suppose he's worth a couple mil, great braggin rights.

Now if those ten women have other children by different fathers, the reality is dozens of aunts and cousins and step children got bragging rights.

    This is B-I-G.

Stay tuned next year when grandma turns 30.

"Did you know you're grandfather is a rapper?":D
