^ Another quality post by AAA. Man, you ought to be writing for ESPN, SI or somebody. Just a Blog (whatever that is). Quality posts week in - week out. If you weren't a Redskins guy I'd buy you a beer. Keep 'em coming - do you do baseball, hockey, golf? If not you should, c'mon expand your horizon. Then I would buy you a beer.
Actually, I do follow golf pretty closely, as well as the NBA and NASCAR. I lost interest in baseball during the strike years ago and have never gone back. My focus on this thread is primarily on betting, with focus on games secondary. I have been surprised there is not more interest in the betting side of this thread, since traders are notorious for betting on games. Betting NBA games can be pretty interesting, but I don't have time to follow them here, since there are so many. If you follow the NBA closely, you can have a pretty good idea when a team will mail it in. Typically, that happens when they have back-to-backs, particularly if they are on the road. Even good teams will suffer that. Also, the matchups in the NBA are interesting and easier to understand than in the NFL. Some teams just don't matchup very well, and some cities have a lot of nightlife that can lead to subpar performances. Of course, the linesmakers know all this and have far better sources of information on things like injuries, etc, so it is still an uphill battle.
I love NCAA bball, but have lost interest in the NBA. Used to love it too, but it seemed to have turned into thug ball, no D individual play. I miss the Celitcs vs Lakers vs. Sixers vs. Pistons vs. Bulls. I haven't watched a NBA game in over 5 years. Sure there is talent out there and maybe I'm missing out on King James, but the game has lost me. The NBA has always been a tough wager (it amazes me how good the linemakers are), I couldn't even attempt it today. Give your Capitals and the NHL a shot - IMO there is nothing more exciting in all of sports that you will find in the NHL playoffs. Anyway, keep up the posts. I look forward to them.
Steelers vs Rams tonight in Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network, another important game that many in USA will not see. Good job NFL and Roger Goodell(the new guy) suspend some of your more exciting players and move games where your fans can not see them. Whats next moving the Super Bowl to China. Pulling for the Rams tonight(Hell Yes) want to see Steelers lose that division. Talk about a big number on the road Steelers -7 1/2.
Go Pitt!!!! Division champs. Unfortunately, Cleavland shouldn't have any problem with Cincinnati or San Fran. I would say that Pitt shouldn't have any problems with their last two, but I said that when they faced the Jets and the Cardinals too. Only thing worse than losing to the Jets is losing to Miami. HAHA Baltimore. How can baltimore almost beat NE, then lose to Miami. Any given Sunday baby!!!
Ridiculous! At first the Steeler's injury plague was just restricted to defense with at least one key player out almost every game. Now Parker's done for the year! Who's next, Hines Ward? Maybe R-berger and Ward both during next week's game.
one thing for certain the browns won't get past first playoff game assuming they get there which they won't
Big Ben's shoulder is healing up good and assuming he doesn't act like a fullback anymore... Ward is indestructible Parker's out for year but he and his fibulae will be back next better than ever.. 247lb! Davenport ! is finnaly finding those lanes and coming into his own The Stillers are picking up momentum... LOOK OUT!!
