What makes you think the Pats can score 40+ pts, when they have only been able to rack up 30+ pt games so far. I think 38-10 (...again) is a much more reasonable score. Plus, Bill won't want to run the score up too much against his old buddy, Romeo, just in case he starts whining like a Jet.
Good to hear from you Mac. This type of question about Pats, or questions about Sox, should not be raised in public where people from away can see it.
I've got Dallas' Patrick Crayton on my fantasy team. Antwaan Randle El and Lavernaues Coles are both available. Should I pick one of them up and drop Crayton? Dallas is playing Buffalo, ought to be a blowout. Washington is playing Detroit and Santana Moss is out, making El a good play. Coles is having a good season too. Crayton can do damage if TO is double-covered again, but he also will lose touches to the Tight End, Witten. Dallas also might decide to run the ball after establishing an early lead. Help this rookie FF player out!!
just when you thought it couldn't get uglier....Trent Green goes down with a concussion trying to make a block on a 1000lbs lineman...
I lost all respect for Trevor Johnson after that play. This latest antic makes it official that he is a BUST. Another overrated FSU lineman. Dolphins could easily go 2-14. Who do you have your eyes on in the draft? Most are saying Glenn Dorsey DT from LSU.
That sucks Cubano. I feel your pain though as a Browns fan, we've dealt with many, many years of unfortunate teams and odd plays... ie LeCharles Bentley out for year last year on first play of PRACTICE. He may never play again. Baxter tears BOTH ACL's and may never play again. It sucks and while I give props to Green for trying to block, you also have to be smart as a QB when it comes to that kind of stuff.
recent mock drafts have miami picking dorsey....trent green went way to low, he is the one that made the mistake...it is known not to go below the knees....peace
I feel sorry for Green and Dophins fans, but he had no business trying to make that block. His form was terrible. He's lucky he didn't get hurt worse. When he got that concussion last year, I was one of the few people who thought the defensive player had speared him when it was obvious he was going down. I thought the league should have hit the guy with a huge fine and maybe a suspension, but they did nothing. This time it's all on Green though. No way that DT has the coordination to give Green a flying knee when he was getting blindsided. This could be the end of his career. Too bad, he was a smart and gutty player.
Hey AAA - how'd you like the Browns game? If you caught the end, it seemed like they were playing for not... EXCEPT THE SPREAD. It was fun to watch knowing the spread was -16.5 Pats win by 17 by a defensive touchdown off a fumble by K2. Unreal how Vegas has those numbers pegged, isn't it? I think we actually played well even though the score doesn't really show that. We were in the game for the most part and that last TD by their D was the nail in the coffin. Going into that drive though, we were only down by 10, which is not terrible considering where the Browns have been. Things are looking better here fellas and after taking my brunt of messages on the board, just maybe ... the Browns will become competitive once again.
