  1. Same here! I've watched it so many times, I lost count! The funny thing is when I first watch that movie, I didn't recognize it was Val Kilmer.

  2. Likewise with 'Felon' (which is worth watching, btw). He's not the pretty-boy he once was.

  3. I haven't seen that movie yet, but I just saw a clip of it on youtube. Val does look different and I think that's a characteristic of a good actor. He can change the way he look and behave, and can convincingly become the character!

  5. He got fat after Saint which was a good flick too. Could have had the run the Bourne series did if there were a sequel.

OK that was probably one of THE WORST movies I have ever seen!! I'm glad we didn't waste money to see that in the theaters!

  7. Another great movie I enjoy is Army of Darkness. The whole movie is kind of cheesy. It is the continuation of the Evil Dead series, but it came out as a completely different movie. It's more like an adventure movie than a horror movie.

The funny thing is that this movie developed quite a cult following. It has a lot of funny one-liners, which I believe even game developers used these funny one-liners to make the game, Duke Nukem 3D.

    Caution: Spoiler
Here is the ending to the movie:

    "Hail to the king baby!!!"

  8. I enjoyed 'Felon'

Val Kilmer shares the same affliction as Alec Baldwin, young guys that were thin and fit became fairly large and round'ish' with age

Saw "Brooklyn's Finest" over the weekend.
It was a good, gritty, adult (not porn) movie. The acting was top rate and the storyline was ok, but full of been there done that cop/druggie cliche's. If they could have been a little more original, it would've been a great movie. Ethan Hawke plays a terrific train-wreck with some interesting catholic overtones.

    3 of 5 stars

  10. I advise everyone to check the indy movie "The Man from Earth" from Jerome Bixby.

Amazing how a movie only developing in one scenario, can make you involve so much with the story behind it.

Loved it, and i rate it 9.5 out of 10 !
