Y'all should indeed.
Yes, it's a cop show, and yes, most of us chaotic-neutral types who frequent ET aren't especially fond of their kind.

However, 'The Wire' is noticeably different than 'Law & Order' and similar dreck. It's a cop show entirely palatable by those of us who can't stand cops. Their 'Amsterdam' drug de-criminalization experiment in season 3 was especially brilliant.

Other awesome HBO shows you might not want to miss are 'Rome' and 'True Blood'. Good shit.
