    VERY entertaining.

Naysayers decry the many historical inaccuracies, but they forget that it is a very faithful rendition of a graphic novel which wasn't very accurate to begin with.

Definitely a guy's movie. You'll see a lot of actors from other sword and sandal epics i.e. Troy and Return of the King.

    "Children of Men"
Neither me or my wife cared for it.
The plot had potential to make a good movie, it just wasn't done very well.

I know its been out for awhile, but just saw "Blood Diamond".

I thought it was really good, better than "The Departed" which one best picture.

If you like action movies, its worth seeing.

  10. Collateral.

Tom Cruise with white hair, and another guy, in a cab.

Im not the biggest fan of Mr Cruise, he's had some blockbusters sure.
But i cant help but get the feeling, he's had to "work" for those parts, as a certain lawsuit might or might not have implied in some manner.

I cant say i was expecting a lot, but this was a very good movie-it delivered.

Micheal mann, the guy who brought you miami vice, and has had a really stellar hollywood career, really-why was i surprised, a don johnson lookalike would strangely be at the centre of the film, sans sandals.

Took a while to get going, and thats no flaw, because, unbelievably, this "psychological drama " was just that.

There was , actual tension, there was actual threat, if you like.

Tom Cruise, well, he played Tom Cruise, just with white hair and a safari suit, but i thought the full on gun-play scenes , which were amazing , very much cemented the role, to a character so full on as to-make one think it wasn't tom cruise in the role.

That has to be good, and for what amounts to a first effort as a serious villain, Mr Cruise has come up with the goods, something i never thought i'd say.
HUGE PLOT SPOILER DO NOT CONTINUE
    Even the

final scene's of someone who's last words, were "I do this for a living" riding of on a suburban train, dead, i thought was -remarkably, and, unexpectedly poignant.

I should , in fairness, point out i loved miami vice , crockett and tubbs, who cares what the reality is, they had a great soundtrack, something that seems to have not been ignored in this film, great music.

The often existential (thats what i liked about it) endings of miami vice is right there, in this film, take it or leave it.

    A good movie, overall.

    3 stars, out of five.
