I used to use a PATS screen (Pro-Mark), but am now back to TT.

We started with TT, then moved to PATS for some other exchange connectivity we needed. We thought it was great at first, but after a few months we spotted more and more bugs. Then more bugs. We soon realised the thing was totally dangerous and costing us way too much in trade errors. The price feed is a joke.

    We moved back to TT.

We're not retail though (and we're not 'institutional' either), but I post this in case anyone is thinking of using PATS, but having experience with several different clearers/brokers, I wouldn't go near it.

    Be warned!!

  3. That's the broad industry consensus -- PATS is cheaper than TT, but inferior.
