Indeed.Dems could put an end to The GOP on the national level right now. 1.End the filibuster 2.Add 5 Justices to The SC 3.End gerrymandering,Dems would keep The House in nearly every election. 4.Add DC and 4 of the 5 territories as States, that gives Dems 10 more Senate seats (4 of the 5 territories are as liberal as Hawaii and DC would be the bluest state in the country). The GOP would never have control of The Senate again, which also means they would never have The Supreme Court again or block Democrat legislation in The Senate again. All 4 of those steps only require majority House,Senate and White House, which The Dems have now.Yet yet abortion is banned in around half the country, republican voter suppression laws still stand, medicare option for all isn't even a discussion,Trumps tax cuts still in effect, min wage still at 7.25,no student loan forgiveness, giving billions more to abusive police with no reforms etc.
Is this really a cause or something that just popped up due to recent SC decision. I ask because adding the SC does not achieve anything on its own except to simply push one agenda. GOP can do the same.
Let em keep switching up or add DC and 4 of 5 territories as states and GOP cant do the same because they would never have The Senate again.
100% of repug politicians are in it for themselves, are bought and paid for and by extension bad. About 50% of dems are on that camps (talking DC legislative here).
Continuously packing the court doesn't inherently have any drawbacks IMO and favors democratic rule so dems would have nothing to worry aboutlong term.
