Just a question for you, if you know the answer. Aren't all of those things you want the president to do things he has said he is in favor of but are also things he can't do on his own without Congress passing legislation and they don't qualify for reconciliation to bypass a filibuster? If so, I would think the mere fact that they don't get done does not necessarily reflect on the president. Is that the reason you don't see him pushing for these things you want, i.e., he knows they have no chance of passing so he puts his efforts and time into issues that have a chance. Even if it's an item that can qualify for reconciliation he'd still need either 100% of the Senate Democrats on board, or at least a few Republicans -- a very high bar indeed, maybe an impossibly high bar on some of those things you want to see. If the Senate Democrats can gain just two seats this fall and can hold on to the House, them some of those things you want to see might come to pass, but I doubt it even then unless they can either qualify for reconciliation or the Democrats come to their senses and kill the filibuster (or go to a talking filibuster which is virtually the same as killing it..)

To me the single biggest mistake the Democrats are committing is not killing the filibuster. Who cares if there will be retribution from the Republicans once they are back in power. If the Democrats passed all of their progressive legislation including single payer Medicare for all, a codifed right to abortion, a ban on assault style weapons, and passed legislation that would effectively castrate both Citizens United and gerrymandering while protecting voting rights, the Republicans would never be back in power, not in there present incarnation anyway.

If Biden doesn't go to war with Manchin and Sinema on behalf of progressives and minorities we will not be going to polls for him in 2024.Progressive and minority turnout will be lower in 2024 than it was in 2000 and 2016

I dont even think Sinema and Manchin are the problem.Biden is still the centrist democrat he has always been and lied to progressives and minorities so they wouldn't sit out in 2020 like they did in 2016.That wont work twice though.

He can forgive student debt by EO.

During The BLM protests he should have told blacks and progressives he planned to give 37 billion to police and hire 100,000 new cops.

Not all of his bull shit can be blamed on Manchin and Sinema.

This is a problem holding the country back. I am not referring to belief that all politicians are a problem. I am referring to the unfounded belief that most politicians are crooked, incompetent, untrustworthy and lack integrity. This is not true. Most are competent trustworthy and honest. There are too many that are not of course --- one is too many --- but they don't represent the majority.

This quote above is an example Soros gives of the application of "reflexivity".
