This has got to get Obama's goat and many of the Obama loons here in the P&R.

Vladimir Putin is second to "Nobody" on the world's most powerful people list, according to international think-tank, Eurasia Group.

The list ranks individuals "ability to (singlehandedly) bring about change that significantly affects the lives and fortunes of large numbers of people."

Eurasia Group president Ian Bremmer explains that the top spot was given to "Nobody" because the modern world currently has no clear leader.

"Everyone is waiting for someone else to shoulder responsibility for the world's toughest and most dangerous challenges," wrote Bremmer.

Second to "Nobody" is Russian president Vladimir Putin, who, in Russia's "personalized system...is still the person who counts."

Bremmer writes of Putin: "He isn't as popular as he used to be, and his country has no Soviet-scale clout or influence, but no one on the planet has consolidated more domestic and regional power than Putin."

Pres. Barack Obama ranks fifth, behind even his own Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.

    Here's the full list:

    1. Nobody
    2. Vladimir Putin
    3. Ben Bernanke
    4. Angela Merkel
    5. Barack Obama
    6. Mario Draghi
    7. Xi Jinping
    8 (tie). Ayatollah Khamenei
    8 (tie). Christine Lagarde
    10. King Abdullah Bin Abd al-Aziz

LOL You have a valid point.

  4. They're all wrong. The most powerful person as of late has been Adam Lanza. In a matter of minutes he ended the lives of 26 people, had a dramatic and instant impact on hundreds of immediate family members. Tens of millions of people were stopped in their tracks as we watched the horror unfold. A nation now debates the 2nd ammendment in earnest. New laws are coming that will impact millions of people.
The moral of the story. Never under estimate the power of one guy with a gun that doesn't give a fuck whether he lives or dies. Leaders would do well to take note of this as they continue to oppress a nations across the globe. No doubt, somebody out there is doing a slow burn right now.

That was just a 'moment' of fame for Lanza. It's best not to give such people any notoriety at all. But, I think we are talking about people who continue to exert influence over populations.

  6. Well well, isn't that interesting.

This really shouldnt come as much of a surprise to Obama, or the obamaloons, afterall, they have just spent the last 4+ years trying to convince everyone that Obama is nothing more than an innocent bystander who has never done anything wrong, who is simply a victim of circumstance.
