  1. What vendar/broker has most Cheppest data of NASDAQ/NYSE ?

    Case Tradestation 2000i/Metastock RT.

    1) MLDownloader + RTQDownloader + Metaserver DDE :)
    . MLDownloader ($55)
    . RTQDownloader ($60)
    . Metaserver DDE ($99)
    . intraday (free from quote.com)
    . Historical (free from yahoo.com)
    . Realtime (free )
    if you need future data, add quote.com Livechart basic($9.95/m)

    2) e-signal/qchart + Ondemand server :) :)
    . esignal ($50/m <- High Cost) or Qchart ($77/m <- High Cost)
    . Ondemand server ($234)
    intra,historical,realtime OK.
    but high cost. do you know another choise ?

    3) IQFeed/IB + metaserver + MLDownloader :)
    . MLDownloader from quote.com ($55) intraday
    . IQFeed ( $49/m <- High Cost ) historical
    . IB ( Almost free ) realtime
    . intraday (free from quote.com)
    . metaserver ($99)
    historical only OK.

    Q1:
    Please tell me the cheapest combination of NASDAQ/NYSE data
    except I writed here.

    Q2:

    Please tell me the chepest combination of Commodity/future/NASDAQ/NYSE
    except I write here.

    Q3:

    Do you think where is Most Cheapest Data vendar ?
    I want to Historical/Intraday/Realtime data with same time.

    Q4:

    Please tell me what is Best software combination for TS 2000i/Metastock ?
    except High cost ... :(

    I want data without spending money.
     
  2. You can't always get what you want - but if you try sometime - you just might find - you get what you need !
     
  3. This is the most cheapest business you can be in...there is very few data feeds that are that most of a overhead...think abou it....how many business have a few hundred dollar overhead a month....that you can have potential to make thousands????

    It IS funny to read guys worryng about spending a few bucks per month on one of the most important tools a trader has.. good data . But these same would-be "traders" are going to risk many times that in each trade! Think they need to sit down and rationally re-think those penny-wise/pound foolish thoughts!

    Transaction cost savings per trade are much more important IMO because that is directly related to the margin% of profit (losses):D

    I don't know if they are the least expensive. I use their service, and find it very valuable. Interactive brokers has inexpensive real time data also, but there is no backfill.

  9. as for data software utilities - TS Support`s products seems to provide the best good price/quality ratio, besides the fact that some their products are unique.
